Free Form Fibers visited by US Congressman Paul Tonko

US Congressman Paul Tonko (U.S. Representative from New York’s 20th congressional district) visited Free Form Fibers’ Saratoga Springs facilities to learn more about the company’s successful development of a scaled technology for the production of advanced ceramic and other inorganic fibers using its Fiber Laser Printer™ technology. The Congressman, an engineer by education, learned about the underlying technology and market forces motivating the support of this important technology by the government. The Small Business Innovative Research grant program from agencies like DOE, NSF, and NASA has been crucial in helping to further the company’s Laser-assisted Chemical Vapor Deposition (LCVD) technology development.
